Finding tutors for kids
There’s so much to consider when a PCS is approaching, and the great news is that you have two helpful resources at your disposal to continue your children’s education.

Educational consultations provided through Military OneSource are able to answer a range questions you might have.  The consultants can help connect you to tutors in your new town and can provide information about local public and private schools.  Also, when your little ones grow up, consultants are available to talk about options for college too.  Log on to Military OneSource or call 800-342-9647 to get started.

Free tutoring services are available to military families at Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families.  Through Tutor.com, you can access a live tutor for your children (grades K–12) online.  The tutor provides one-to-one assistance with homework, studying, test preparation, and proofreading.  And this is available to you at no cost.
